My journey didn’t start with success—it started with struggle. I’d spend twelve hours a day in a coffee shop, grinding away, trying to figure things out with just an idea and a laptop. One day, an older man sat down next to me. I asked him what he thought of the website I was building. He looked at me and said, “Looks good. Do you do marketing?” Nervously, I said, “Yes, I’m learning.” Turns out, he owned a bakery across the street. I showed him a few things, and he invited me to a meeting two days later.
I went back to my car, grabbed my one suit, and had it cleaned. At that meeting, I made my first $3,000. That moment changed everything.
From there, I threw myself into the work. I built brands from scratch, created my own courses, ran my own ads, and scaled companies to validate everything I was learning. I went from making $420 a week at a job I hated, to making that before I even woke up—all from ads running online for courses I built.
And because I finally had some money coming in, I started buying more courses—going through them one by one—so I could push myself even further and sharpen my skills. Every dollar I made, I reinvested into learning and applying what I learned.
That cycle of working, learning, and reinvesting built the foundation that took me from surviving in my car to building companies, creating brands, and helping others achieve results they never thought possible.
I didn’t grow up with much, and for a long time I didn’t even believe in myself. But years of sixteen-hour days in front of a computer taught me resilience, focus, and the power of not giving up.
Today, more than a decade later, I’ve met countless people along the way, and one thing I’ve learned about the marketing world is this: ego is everywhere. Everyone thinks they’re doing it right—until someone else does it better. You have two choices in that moment: resent them, or learn from them. I always chose to learn and to partner with the people driving real results.
